Avoiding Professional Publication Panic: Advice to New Scholars
Seeking to Publish in the Field of Early Childhood Education
This article provides practical strategies for
beginning scholars to assist in writing for professional
publications. Specific strategies include awareness/understanding
of publication requirements of institutions, types
of manuscripts, creating time and space for writing,
knowing publication outlets in the field, ethics/plagiarism,
the manuscript submission and evaluation process, and
ideas for turning rejected articles into accepted ones.
